Course Synopsis:

The ATHE Level 3 Diploma in Business is a 60-credit Ofqual regulated qualification and is the equivalent level to an A Level. It has been designed for learners who wish to progress to a business or management degree but may not have the traditional entry qualifications usually required

Course Structure:

Learners are required to complete 4 modules

Core Modules

Title: How Businesses Operate (60 hours)

The module covers key features of an organisation and their importance. including finance, leadership, HR, marketing, managing data and customer service.

Title: Hospitality Marketing (60 hours)

This unit will equip learners with knowledge and understanding of elementary marketing principles and techniques. Topics include the marketing mix, market research and analysis, and electronic marketing. Learners will learn how to apply marketing theories in a hospitality setting.

Title: Academic and Research Skills for Business (60 hours)

This module trains learners to understand ones academic strengths and weaknesses. Learner will also develop research papers using a variety of skills.

Title: Communication Skills for Business (60 hours)

This module covers how communication is used in business and how one’s own communication skills can be developed to effectively present information and ideas.

Assessment Method:

Students will be assessed by a variety of assignments.

Graduation Criteria:

Students who have successfully completed the course by passing every module will be awarded the L3 Diploma in Business by ATH

Minimum Entry Requirements:

Minimum Age 17 years
Academic Qualification Completed 10 years of formal education, ‘O’ level or equivalent
English Proficiency IELTS 5.0 or equivalent

University Progression :

Learners who complete this qualification can progress to BA (Hons) Business Management by Birmingham City University.
