Course Synopsis:

The ATHE L4 Extended Diploma in Business and Management course is a 120-credit Ofqual regulated qualifications that are the equivalent level to the first year of a bachelor’s degree Its designed for learners who wish to develop knowledge and skills required by junior managers and entrepreneurs.

Course Structure:

Learners are required to complete 10 modules and a 6-month internship.

Modules

Title: Business Environment (60 hours)

This module covers the national and global business environment and external and internal circumstances in which different organisations operate. It will provide learners the opportunity to examine the challenges faced by organisations worldwide.

Title: People in Organisations (60 hours)

This module covers aspects of organisations that concern and support people such as communication practices, teamwork, remote working and other organisational structures. This will provide the Learners the opportunity to propose suitable workplace strategies for business organisations.

Title: Financial and Management Accounting Techniques for Managers (60 hours)

This module covers fundamental financial and management accounting techniques used by different organisations.

Title: Communication Skills for Business (60 hours)

This unit covers the communication practices within organisations and learners are introduced to the different modes and channels of communication used in organisation

Title: Marketing Mix (60 hours)

This unit covers comprehensive knowledge of the marketing mix & explains how to apply the seven aspects of the marketing mix to businesses. Learners will get to develop various types of marketing plans.

Title: Entrepreneurship (60 hours)

This module provide an understanding of entrepreneurship in business, the skills and qualities needed by a successful entrepreneur and the roles an entrepreneur plays in starting and developing businesses.

Title: Customer Relationship Management (60 hours)

This module provides understanding of the scope and importance of Customer Relationship Management (CRM).

Title: Corporate Social Responsibility (60 hours)

This module provide understanding of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) issues and impacts of CSR policy. It will also provide understanding to make recommendations for responsible business practice.

Graduation Criteria:

Students who have successfully completed the course by passing every module will be awarded the L4 Extended Diploma in Business and Management by ATHE.

Minimum Age 18 years
Academic Qualification Completed 12 years of formal education, ‘O’ levelor equivalent
English Proficiency IELTS 5.5 or equivalent
