The International Diploma in Supply Chain Business is designed for learners who wish to understand supply chain business. It covers business topics such as finance, leadership, HR, marketing, managing data and customer service along with global supply chain and it planning and design

Learners are required to complete 4 modules

Modules

Title: Business Operation

The module covers key features of an organisation and their importance. including finance, leadership, HR, marketing, managing data and customer service.

Title: Marketing (60 hours)

This unit will equip learners with knowledge and understanding of elementary marketing principles and techniques. Topics include the marketing mix, market research and analysis, and electronic marketing. Learners will learn how to apply marketing theories in a hospitality setting.

Title: Academic and Research Skills for Business (60 hours)

This module trains learners to understand ones academic strengths and weaknesses. Learner will also develop research papers using a variety of skills.

Title: Business Communication (60 hours)

This module covers how communication is used in business and how one’s own communication skills can be developed to effectively present information and ideas.

Title: Introduction to Supply Chain (40 hours)

This module covers introduction, objectives and components of supply chain. Customer orientation, supply chain management and trends in development are covered.

Title: Global Supply Chain Management (30 hours)

This module covers focus on global supply chain management, features, its response, factors influencing and trends.

Title: Purchasing (30 hours)

This module covers process of purchasing, selection of supplier. Kralijic matrix. It provides an understanding of strategic role of purchasing in supply chain business.

Assessment Method:

Students will be assessed by a variety of assignments.

Graduation Criteria:

Students who have successfully completed the course by passing every module will be awarded the International Diploma in Supply Chain Business.

Minimum Entry Requirements:

Minimum Age	17 years
Academic Qualification	Completed 10 years of formal education, ‘O’ level or equivalent
English Proficiency	IELTS 5.0 or equivalent

Academic Progression :

Learners who complete this qualification can progress to Advanced Diploma in Retail and Supply Chain by Baking Industry Training College.
