Modules

Title: Business Operation

The module covers key features of an organisation and their importance. including finance, leadership, HR, marketing, managing data and customer service.

Title: Marketing (60 hours)

This unit will equip learners with knowledge and understanding of elementary marketing principles and techniques. Topics include the marketing mix, market research and analysis, and electronic marketing. Learners will learn how to apply marketing theories in a hospitality setting.

Title: Academic and Research Skills for Business (60 hours)

This module trains learners to understand ones academic strengths and weaknesses. Learner will also develop research papers using a variety of skills.

Title: Business Communication (60 hours)

This module covers how communication is used in business and how one’s own communication skills can be developed to effectively present information and ideas.

Title: Introduction to Hospitality Management (40 hours)

This module aims to provide understanding and knowledge of Hospitality Management. Learners will get to learn about History of the Hospitality Industry and develop skills to apply scope of the Hospitality Industry to businesses

Title: Quality Management In the Global Hospitality Industry (40 hoursTitle: The Accommodation Industry

This module aims to provide knowledge and understanding of Hotels. Learners will get to learn about the Functions and departments of a Hotel. The topic also covers different types of accommodation and Hotel Grading Systems

Title: Title: The Food Service Industry

This module aims to provide knowledge and understanding of Food and Beverage Sector. The topic includes understanding of Restaurants, Food Services at Hotels and people working in Restaurants.

Assessment Method:

Students will be assessed by a variety of assignments.

Graduation Criteria:

Students who have successfully completed the course by passing every module will be awarded the International Diploma in Supply Chain Business.

Minimum Entry Requirements:

Minimum Age 17 years
Academic Qualification Completed 10 years of formal education, ‘O’ level or equivalent

Academic Progression :

Learners who complete this qualification can progress to Advanced Diploma in Hospitality (Café management) by Baking Industry Training College.
